An Exciting Week Ahead 10.1.2018

The week ahead promises excitement as families are invited to White River Valley High School for our first Open House on Thursday, October 4th starting with a free BBQ at 5:30.  At 6 pm we’ll meet in the gym to pick-up schedules and get a welcome/overview before heading out to classrooms following your student’s schedules to meet their teachers.  Here is the full Open House Schedule.

Bonfire PhotoOn Friday evening, we’re working to rekindle the South Royalton Bonfire tradition as a new White River Valley community building event.   At the heart of this event is coming out to cheer on our Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer Teams at 5 pm and 7 pm before celebrating our community with a bonfire.  However many logistics remain to pull this all together.  To make this happen we’re looking for four volunteers who can help pick up/tow four portable light units after work on Thursday.  If you are able to help with this, or volunteer for other event logistics please send an email to wildcats-athletics@wrvsu.org.

Last week the WRVHS Drama Club began afterschool meetings with club advisor and English teacher Tim Fitzgerald.  The club will meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after school.  Please see Mr. Fitzgerald for more information.

In other news, the new Wildcat Basketball coaches were introduced last Friday in player meetings at lunchtime.  Here we are announcing for the first time the selection of:
