Welcome Back from the Thanksgiving Holiday!
Last week’s Morning Meeting featured lots of compliments from our “Compliment Box” and a series of Thanksgiving readings. Students regularly express gratitude for others in our community via our “Compliments Box”. We also made a circle in the gym for Thanksgiving readings and additional expressions of gratitude.
Coming up this week in Morning Meeting will be a review of expectations as we go into four full weeks before the Christmas break. Plus this Thursday we travel as a school to the HOP at Dartmouth to see Shakespeare’s Coriolanus. If you’d like a peek at what is in store for us here is the Coriolanus trailer. For a comprehensive look at expectations for Wildcats at White River Valley High School visit our new WRVS Website under the Our School/Handbook listing.
Congratulations to all of our musicians who were accepted to the Winooski Valley Music Festival on November 15-16th! Although the Festival was cut short thanks snow on the 16th, our students did us proud:
Finally, civic minded students may be interested to compete in the following contests:
The American Legion Oratorical Contest: Deadline 11/30. ($18,000 first prize)
Bernie Sanders State of the Union Essay Contest: Deadline 1/9/19
Additional information can be found in the office.
The Wildcat Roars blog is now published bi-weekly.
